Template:CitePost

The template CitePost is meant to be used inside <ref>...</ref> tags.

Arguments

Argument	Description	Example
board	The board name, without slashes.	soy
no	The post number.	2480
caption	If the post has a subject, use the subject line. If the post doesn't have a subject, use the first line, or first few lines (fewer is better), separated with slashes (" / "). Otherwise, omit this argument. (No caption) will be automatically inserted by the template. Note that template will automatically add a period after the caption, so remove trailing periods at the end.	This thread is for either newfags or people that don't have enough soy memes in their folder
date	The date the post was submitted. Hover the mouse over relative dates, such as "N days/months ago" to view the exact day. Not the date on which the page was archived. Preferably spell out the month, like Month DD, YYYY, or use US-style dates, with the month first: 9/8/2020.	September 8, 2020
url	The URL of the capture of the thread the post was made in. The post number (no) will be automatically appended at the end, preceded with a #, so the browser will jump to that post.	https://web.archive.org/web/20210531060425/https://soyjak.party/soy//res/2480.html
